### Question 3: A rectangular theater is 200 meters long and 150 meters wide. What is the Perimeter of the theater?

**Solution:**

Length of theater(l)= 200 meter Width of theaterPerimeter of the theater(w) =150 meter(P) = 2(= 2(200m + 150m) = 2 x 350m = 700ml+w)

So the Perimeter of the rectangular theater is 700 meter.

### Note to Readers:

Sometimes you might see on some websites that the Formula to find the Perimeter of a Rectangle is shown as 2(w + h) or 2(*l *+ b). If so, then do not get confused.

In case of 2(w + h) = They are actually taking the *l*ength as width and width as height.

In case of 2(*l *+ b) = They are actually mentioning width as breadth.

The answer in all the cases will be the same, but the method we mentioned above is the most popular one.
